BG Group Australian unit QGC, developer of the Queensland Curtis LNG project, awarded earthmoving contracts worth around US$290 million to five businesses in the inland Surat Basin of Queensland from where coal-seam-gas will be transported by pipeline to the liquefaction plant near the port of Gladstone.
