PetroChina to buy BHP Billiton stake in Browse LNG project for over $1.6 billion

BHP Billiton, the Australian commodities and energy company, has agreed to sell its stake of about 15 percent in the Browse LNG project in Western Australia to PetroChina for US$1.63 billion.
