THIS WEEK: Mitsubishi opens new LNG carrier construction era with Peapod vessel

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has formally begun construction at its Nagasaki Shipyard of the first of its Sayaendo series of LNG carriers known as the Peapod because of its design. The graphic shows the traditional Moss-style vessel at the top and the Peapod design underneath.
