ExxonMobil-Led Papua New Guinea LNG project hit by cost overruns of $3.3Bln

The ExxonMobil-led Papua New Guinea LNG project will now cost $19 billion, a rise of $3.3Bln on the original estimates, because of foreign exchange costs and delays and work stoppages caused by a variety of issues, the oil major has told the other shareholders.
