Golden Pass LNG export permit move seen as silver-bullet challenge for US regulators

ExxonMobil and Qatar Petroleum have made a silver-bullet application to the US Department of Energy to export LNG to nations such as Japan and China from the existing Golden Pass LNG import terminal in Texas when it is transformed into an LNG production plant.
