JX Nippon Oil expands LNG activities and seen as buyer of LNG cargoes from Nigeria

JX Nippon Oil and Energy Corp. is reportedly buying LNG cargoes directly from Nigeria for Japanese consumption ahead of the start of deliveries in 2015 from Royal Dutch Shell's global portfolio under an LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement with Shell Eastern Trading, the Anglo-Dutch company's Singapore-based subsidiary.
