Australian regulator approves largest LNG prospects investment for China's CNOOC

China National Offshore Oil Corp. has received approval from Australian regulators for its increased holding in Exoma Energy, whose 27,000 square kilometres of prospective coal-seam gas and shale-gas prospects in Queensland will be explored and developed with a view to future LNG exports.
