Woodside proceeds with $2Bln Browse LNG stake sale to Mitsui and Mitsubishi

Woodside Petroleum said none of its current partners in the Browse LNG project in Western Australia comprising energy majors wished to match the $2 billion offered by Mitsui and Mitsubishi for a stake in the venture, so a deal is proceeding with the Japanese trading companies.
