French LNG import plunge leads pipeline operator to protect north-south balance

French LNG imports have fallen to such low levels because of cargo diversions to the higher-priced Asia-Pacific market that the country's gas transmission network operator GRTgaz is changing its summer maintenance programme to protect rising north-south pipeline flows.
