TransCanada wins LNG Canada project contract to link Montney shale to coast

TransCanada Corp. was selected by the Royal Dutch Shell-led LNG Canada project to build and operate the proposed Coastal GasLink project, a $4-billion pipeline to transport natural gas from the Montney region to a planned liquefaction plant near Kitimat on the West Coast.
