THIS WEEK: East Med natural gas finds and LNG projects set to boost Israel

The plans by Israeli companies and their partners to become LNG exporters are naturally mired in the unrelenting crisis that is Middle East politics. However, the Tamar and Leviathan natural gas discoveries in the Eastern Mediterranean, offshore Israel, will soon make the Jewish state self-sufficient in pipeline gas supplies, with the surplus being monetized for export from possibly two separate Floating LNG projects.
