McDermott International, whose J. Ray subsidiary is a leading LNG contractor with various wins in Qatar, reported net income of $158.1 million, or $1.38 per diluted share, for the 2007 first quarter, compared to $55.3M, or $0.49 per diluted share, for the corresponding period in 2006.
