Shell bids $1.6Bln for Cove Energy and Mozambique LNG project stake

Royal Dutch Shell has made a $1.6 billion bid for London-listed explorer Cove Energy because of its 8.5 percent stake in the feed-gas holdings of the huge Mozambique LNG project in southeast Africa.
