BG Group of the UK, one of the world's leading LNG companies, said it was purchasing an additional 2 million tonnes per annum of LNG for 20 years from the US export plant being developed by Cheniere Energy at Sabine Pass in Louisiana, and will continue the development of its own export plant at nearby Lake Charles.
