THIS WEEK: Bollywood ending as new LNG stars emerge in India

India needs LNG to fill its energy gap as natural gas demand continues to rise (See graphic). The nation is building up its regasification capacity to receive 30 million tonnes or more of LNG after 2015.

That's why it was good news for India this week when Anadarko Petroleum announced that its Mozambique natural gas discoveries could hold feed-gas reserves for LNG of up to 30 trillion cubic feet or more.
