Itochu gets 1 MTPA of LNG as part of $7Bln Samson buy-out deal

Itochu Corp. has demonstrated Japan's determination to secure future LNG supplies by paying $1 billion for a 25 percent stake in a US natural gas explorer with 10,000 wells - from which Itochu is guaranteed 1 million tonnes per annum of North American LNG.
