EDF Trading said it finalized an agreement to access the Gate LNG import terminal in Rotterdam as it builds up its positions in the Northwest Europe natural gas market.

The Gate facility, owned and operated by Dutch companies Gasunie and Vopak, began commercial operations two months ago.
