Jamaica selecting LNG supplier from five bidders

Tuesday, 15 November 2011

Jamaica will decide this week from five supply bids which company will deliver 800,000 tonnes per annum of LNG to the Caribbean nation as it plans its first LNG import facility.

The LNG supplies will amount to around one LNG cargo per month as Jamaica starts to build up its natural gas supplies, required to meet power needs of industrial customers.
