Wednesday, 09 November 2011

A.P. Møller-Mærsk, the Danish shipping company, saw profits plunge in the third quarter, with one of the few bright spots in its earnings being the LNG carrier fleet it is now selling to Canada's Teekay Corp. and Japan's Marubeni.

Møller-Mærsk posted profits for the three months of 1.9 billion Danish kroner ($350M) compared with 9.6Bln Danish kroner ($1.7Bln) in the same period a year ago.
