Sempra LNG earned $24 million in the third quarter of 2011, up from $5M in the same period a year ago, due primarily to additional revenues from contracted deliveries that were never made.
The LNG unit of San Diego-based Sempra Energy has two LNG regasification terminals where capacity is contracted, one at Ensenada in Baja California, Mexico, and a second at Hackberry, Louisiana, called Cameron LNG.
