Gazprom gives timeframe for Far East LNG plans

Gazprom said it expected to have more LNG cargoes heading for Japan from two liquefaction projects in the Russian Far East now scheduled for start-up by 2017 at the latest.

Alexander Medvedev, Director General of Gazprom Export, said a third liquefaction Train at Sakhalin II would come on stream almost at the same time as the new Vladivostok LNG project planned with Japanese utilities.
