Sembcorp Marine said it received a contract from Bechtel of the US, engineering contractor for the Australia Pacific LNG project, for the assembly in Indonesia of process and cryogenic pipe-rack modules.
Singapore-based Sembcorp said the work was worth around US$100 million and may potentially increase to be over $150 million for the module assembly for a planned liquefaction plant on Curtis Island, near the eastern Australian port of Gladstone.
