Novatek, the Russian natural gas company, said it increased its stake in the Yamal LNG project company by acquiring all of the shares, ahead of moves to bring in more investors for the estimated $30 billion venture in the Arctic area of Northern Russia.

Novatek increased its equity interest through two call options for 23.9 percent and 25.1 percent purchased in July 2009 and March 2011 respectively, it said.
