Jamaica makes progress with LNG tender process

Jamaica said it was making progress with its revised tendering process for a floating LNG import facility after cancelling its previous tender decision because of alleged irregularities.

A steering committee set up by Prime Minister Bruce Golding to handle the country’s tender for a project using a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit was holding several pre-bidding meetings with interested parties.
