Apache Corp., the developer of LNG projects in Canada and Australia, has apppointed a well-known fund manager to its board of directors.

Apache said it appointed William C. Montgomery, a managing director of Quantum Energy Partners, a private equity firm that focuses on investments in the energy and power industries.
