US highlights China and India LNG and gas surge

The US Energy Department forecasts world energy use will increase 53 percent by 2035, with China and India accounting for half of the total growth and natural gas and LNG being an integral part of the rise.

The largest increases in imported LNG and pipeline demand are projected for China and India, which together will require imports of 6 trillion cubic feet per annum by 2035.
