Bechtel, the leading LNG liquefaction plant contractor, said it was proceeding to order long-lead equipment after signing a multibillion-dollar engineering, procurement and construction contract for BG Group’s Queensland Curtis coal-seam-gas-to-LNG project at the port of Gladstone in eastern Australia.
