Chubu takes first stake in LNG with Gorgon equity

Chubu Electric Power has acquired a small stake in the A$43-billion (US$38-Bln) Gorgon LNG project in Australia being developed by Chevron, Royal Dutch Shell, and ExxonMobil, and the shareholding is the Japanese company’s first in an LNG venture.
