Into the second month. Following its biggest monthly gain in its history, Brent dropped sharply in early trading on hopes of a de-escalation of the Middle East war.
Brent crude fell by around 13% since last night, to $103 per barrel, as the market reacted to signs from Washington that the Iran war might end soon.
At the time of writing, Brent was hovering at around $102.20 per barrel.
