At this week’s event held just outside Oslo, Lloyd’s Register (LR) awarded an Approval in Principle (AiP) to Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) and Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) for the design of a 174,000 cu m LNGC fitted with solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology.
