“We will be starting the first LNG train from the North Field East development, which has a 32 mill tonne per annum LNG production capacity by mid next year,” confirmed the Qatari Minister of State for Energy Affairs and Qatarenergy President and CEO, HE Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi at this week’s World Gas Conference (WGC25) in Beijing, adding that subsequently, other trains will come online.
