The Philippines plans to import LNG from the US Alaska project to meet growing energy needs.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr intends to discuss the matter and other opportunities to co-operate when he meets US President Donald Trump at the “soonest possible time,” Philippine Ambassador to the US, Jose Manuel Romualdez, said on an X post on Friday.
