French engineering company, Sofregaz has signed a project management consultancy (PMC) contract with Aqaba Development Corp for Jordan’s Sheikh Sabah LNG terminal development project.
This initiative will enhance Jordan’s energy security, diversify supply sources, and optimise operational costs.
With its deep expertise in LNG infrastructure and regasification, Sofregaz will oversee the execution of the offshore regasification unit, ensuring technical excellence, risk management, and efficiency, the company said in a social media statement.
As a partner, Sofregaz is actively engaged in advancing Jordan’s energy resilience and energy transition, working together with the Aquaba Development Corp to develop sustainable and innovative energy solutions for the future, the company added.
