This year, ADNOC Logistics and Services, part of Abu Dhabi’s ADNOC Group, strengthened its asset base with newbuilding contracts valued up to $2.5 bill (AED9.2 bill).

These included  up to 10 new LNGCs, and through AW Shipping $1.4 bill (AED5 bill) for nine Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLECs) and around $500 mill (AED1,836 mill) for four Very Large Ammonia Carriers (VLACs), the company said in its financial report.
