Egypt looks for up to 20 LNG cargoes

Egypt is seeking winter LNG cargoes for the first time in several years, highlighting its deepening energy shortage that will increase global competition for the gas.  

State-owned Egyptian General Petroleum Corp, has issued one of its largest tenders to date, asking for 17 shipments to be delivered to its FSRU at Ain Sukhna and three more cargoes to be delivered into another FSRU noored at neighbouring Aqaba, Jordan.
