European gas traders are bidding for longer term contracts taking the view that fuel demand will remain high well into the 2030s, even as the region transitions to renewables.
The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) registered its first trade of Dutch gas futures for 2033 last week, according to a spokesperson talking with newswires.
