Hanseatic Energy Hub (HEH), a consortium developing the Stade LNG and alternative energy hub, confirmed last week that it had filed suit against the European Commission (EC) to try to block German Government subsidies to rival Brunsbüttel.

HEH has taken its case to the EU Court in Luxembourg, arguing that Brunsbüttel could have proceeded without government funding.
