LNG and oil leader China puts power grid before virtue

China is a world leader in importing LNG, crude oil and Russian pipeline gas as well as being a big producer of coal, though its many critics fail to acknowledge that the Chinese are also the World No. 1 in renewable energy capacity in the form of wind and solar.
