Indian LNG importer posts income drop amid Kochi terminal pipeline opposition

Gas Authority of India (GAIL), one of India's main liquefied natural gas importers, said quarterly income dropped by about 10 percent to 137.08 billion rupees ($2.05Bln) from 151.09Bln rupees in the previous quarter as it continued to face opposition to an LNG terminal pipeline connection.
