US LNG export project near Savannah in Georgia begins countdown to final permit

US pipeline and terminal operator Kinder Morgan has received the go-ahead for its Elba Island liquefied natural gas export plant at an existing import terminal near Savannah in the state of Georgia and in which Royal Dutch Shell was previously a partner.
