Italian engineer Saipem to appeal guilty verdict over Algerian LNG pipeline contract

Italian engineering and construction company Saipem said it expected to appeal a guilty verdict and a fine imposed by a court in Algeria for alleged irregularities in its winning of a $1.5 billion pipeline contract to bring feed-gas to the Skikda LNG plant on the Mediterranean coast.
