Parent of Canadian LNG project developer Quicksilver succeeds in US asset auction

Quicksilver Resources Inc., whose Canadian subsidiary had planned a liquefied natural gas export project, said it successfully completed a Bankruptcy Court-approved auction of its US oil and gas assets.
