Canadian LNG project involving Belgian shipping line and French utility gets licence

AltaGas, the Canadian natural gas and utility business, was awarded a 25-year LNG export licence by the National Energy Board for a floating export plant being developed with European and Japanese partners on the Douglas Channel, west of the town of Kitimat in British Columbia.
