The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has reported that last years’ production of associated-dissolved natural gas (or associated gas) in the five major US onshore crude oil producing regions had declined.

This natural gas is produced from oil wells and the share of associated gas, produced from Permian, Bakken, Eagle Ford, Niobrara, and Anadarko, fell for the first time since 2016 by 1.5% year-on-year and averaged 37.7% of natural gas production in the regions
