US natural gas inventories are forecast to reach 3,592 bill cubic feet by 1st November, according to the US Energy Information Administration’s (EIA).

In the EIA’s August 2021 Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO), it was stated that this total is 159 bill cubic feet below the previous five-year average (2016–2020).
