As the UK natural gas price moved to the equivalent of $9.05 per million British thermal units, a May seasonal high, another benchmark, the Alberta Energy Company (AECO) natural gas price in Canada, currently at $2.40 per MMBtu, has been adopted by Malaysia’s Petronas as a new price option for LNG customers.
