UK takes up US role as main underwriter of GE liquefaction plant equipment financing

The General Electric oil, gas and subsea divisions, including the supply of equipment to liquefied natural gas production plants, may provide the planned LNG projects in the southeast African nation of Mozambique with the UK government underwriting export credits after the US closed its Export-Import bank.
