Singapore carrier finance deals underpin medium-term charter market confidence

The liquefied natural gas shipping joint venture between Singapore-based BW Group and Pavilion Energy, a unit of Singapore equity fund Temasek, has raised US$360 million in loans for two newbuild carriers, underpinning medium-term confidence in the depressed charter market.
