Tokyo-backed LNG conference hears about plunge in demand

Japan's LNG imports may fall to as low as 62 million tonnes per annum, or 30 percent, by 2030 from almost 90 million tonnes at present as the nation attempts to reduce its reliance on hydrocarbons, according to a new forecast by the Japanese.
