Taiwan falls short of securing LNG cargoes for September

CPC Corp, Taiwan’s state energy company, has stopped short of earlier intentions to import spot LNG cargoes for August and September delivery to compensate for lost nuclear power capacity. Instead, CPC intends to source super-chilled fuel from the Alaska LNG project in a more distant future.
